The clay was very hard. I could not even cut a chunk out with my wire tool, I had to shave small pieces off and then run it through a mixer and pug with wet very wet clay.

I ordered one bag of this clay (which many companies will not allow you to do). It was perfect for me. I do not throw, I only handbuild & sculpt. The moisture content, the feel, the firing does turn out Mex. pottery red. It might be my favorite clay.
