Artista II Liquid Tempera Paint

by Crayola

An ideal choice of paints when economy is important. Improved mixing properties allow for more vibrant secondary colors. Smoother flow allows for better laydown. These tempera paints provide great coverage and colors that stay true when they dry. They are also freeze-thaw stable, and the non-separating formula gives them excellent shelf life. Wide range of uses including maps, murals, and posters. Dries quickly to a smooth, opaque matte finish. Non-toxic and washable.

Would these be permanent on clothes? I'm Looking for a paint that washes off skin but stays on clothes.

- Asked by Danielle on 01-Jul-13

For your needs, you want to look at non-toxic acrylic paint, which can both touch skin and not wash off. We would recommend the Liquitex Basics acrylic colors for this purpose.

We were very happy with this paint, especially when it dripped on an upholstered chair and cleaned up with no stain at all.

We painted a forest stage scene on a HUGE box from a patio set. What fun! The paint has been great; we really needed the larger sizes. Thank you for your great service, the products came very quickly.
