These watercolor pencils are awesome as is every derwent product I have ever used. I like to combine them with conventional watercolors and other media. They are extremely versatile and MisterArt has the best prices I have found as of today. They also carry larger sets than I have been able to find at other stores.

These are the best watercolor pencils that I have used to far. The color selection is super and they mix very well with twinkling H2Os. The laydown of pigment is precise and the pencil is nice and sturdy, sharpens to a fine point for exact coloring. Some pencils are too soft for this technique and apply too much pigment, this one is perfect for what I want to do. The tin sets are a great storage solution and the colors right out of the box are sorted in a pleasing way.

Good quality, comfortable in hand, colors as shown. I have never used watercolor pencils before, so when I tried to put water over the test drawing, it started to look like a drawing in markers. I beleive you can create very interesting combinations with it, emphasising color where is needed. I liked the product. Does not look or feel cheap. Would recommend.
