These medium weight canvases are made from a blend of Polyflax and cotton and have a fine texture. They are ideal for portraits and other fine detail work. Each canvas is acrylic titanium primed for use with oil or acrylic painting. They’re also triple primed with acid free acrylic gesso.

The canvases are 11/16 in. deep and stapled on the back. They are available separately or in cartons of six.

For awhile now, I've dreaded buying canvas because of the expense. I finally decided to try this portrait grade after my first option was out of stock, and HAVE NEVER GONE BACK!! Fine texture is perfect for detail. I can see my artwork already improving just because of it's surface. Painting fur proved tricky until now. Thanks Fredrix!

This is a great sturdy framed canvas. Since it's stapled on the back instead of the sides the edges don't frey or wrinkle when it gets wet. Much more professional than other canvases I've bought. My painting (which was to be a gift) turned out great!
