A colorless medium for acrylic colors. Transparantizes opaque colors and increases the transparency and clarity of already transparent colors in glaze and wash applications. Full-bodied and absolutely clear when dry. When mixed with acrylic colors, it maintains their hue, consistency and brushing characteristics. #531

I LOVE this stuff! Use it in conjunction with some of your more opaque acrylics and with practice, you can achieve "water color" paint translucency with a beautiful soft sheen. Your colors don't get muddy at all. Caution: If you overwork the area, you will 'lift' your paint. Also, a little goes a long way, so it is economical too.
