For standard round and hex pencils and most ballpoint pens. The soft grip, which is slipped onto a regular-size pencil and mounted an inch above the tip; forms a natural-feeling cushion for the writing fingers. Index and middle finger and thumb can grip the pencil in the shape they naturally form when gripping a writing tool. Also can be used on a #11 X-Acto knife.

I took them to work and passed them out to almost everybody in my work area. Some people did not want them. Others said they liked them and were glad I gave them some. They fit better on pencils than pens. I like the variety of colors.
