Mosaic Mercantile Metallic Glass Tiles are known for their unique variations of color striations within each tile. The color swatch will not show the swirls and streaks embedded in the color, which can add depth and luminosity to your mosaic projects.

Mosaic Mercantile tiles are cast from colored vitreous glass in the centuries old tradition of master Italian glass makers. Designed for easy cutting, nipping and application, these tiles may be used in infinite combinations on nearly any reasonably smooth surface. They are shiny smooth on the front side and textured on the back for better adhesive grip. The edges are miter beveled for clean right angle corners. The tiles are also waterproof and are useable indoors or outdoors.

Each mini tile measures 10 mm square (3/8 in. x 3/8 in. x 1/8 in.). There are approximately 600 tiles to the pound. 1 lb. of tile covers approximately 120 square inches. The exact amount depends upon the width of your grout line.

Each of the largertiles measures 20 mm square (3/4 in. x 3/4 in. x 1/8 in.). There are approximately 140 tiles per pound. 1 lb. of tile covers approximately 90 square inches. The exact amount depends upon the width of your grout line.
