These are the perfect table paints for three-year-olds on up. Sturdy, easy to use, and good, quality pigments. I've given them as gifts with great results, too.

I was searching for paints for my three year old daughter when I stumbled across these. I prefer these cake tempera colors over the liquid tempera because there is less room for spilling when she has to mix her own color and water. These are easy to use and easy to clean up - but keep in mind you'll have to supervise the use of these paints because they can stain some surfaces (like my lineoleum floor in my kitchen - however the stain did come up with a little comet and scrubbing). I give the product 4-stars because of the staining, but other than that these paints are GREAT! If you are considering a paint set for an older child I'd rdefinitely reccomend to buy these, and even for a younger child (though like I stated above you'll have to make sure you supervise use).
