Use dry as a conventional colored pencil and then wash over with a brush to achieve the detailing and special blending effects; or dip pencil in water to achieve a soft flow of color. Full size 7 in. length, pre-sharpened. Paint brush not included.

These watercolor pencils will enhance whatever illustrations desired and delight you. The 24 count is an amazing choice for portraits and design.

These are WONDERFUL, AFFORDABLE and the PERFECT pencils for coloring in rubber stamped images! Used with water and a small brush, you can achieve fantastic results in even the tiniest areas - from bold and bright to the very faintest of hues! I'm definitely buying another box or two. (Be sure to stamp your images with waterproof/dye-based ink)

These are good pencils, but the color in the 12 pack isn't quite as good of a scheme as I could hope. The greens aren't substancially different. The yellow is very cool. The blues, not distinctive. They are perfectly good in a pinch, but I think a 24 might give a more wide spectrum.

As a college student, I don't have a lot of money to buy decorations for my apartment, so my roommate and I decided to find some cheap art tools and make our own! These water color pencils are GREAT, especially for the price! I was pleased not only with their durability, but also with the vibrant wet and dry effects I used them to create. Additionally, there is a wonderful selection of colors to choose from. I'll buy more when I run out!
