This is a great product at a great price. I shopped around extensively before deciding and this performs up to my expectations. The only drawback is that the safety guide tends to get under the blade so you have to remember to hold it in place, but overall this is not a problem.

Having been a teacher in my former life, I spent much time with a paper cutter. Since then, I have found there have been many times I could have used one at home, so I finally looked into buying one. Don't remember them costing so much money, but I knew I wanted a heavy-duty quality one, or I'd kick myself later. After reading other reviews, Dahle seemed to be a good choice and this site had a reasonable price for them. I am not disappointed! It is all metal, the arm is smooth, it cuts easily and precisely. I know I will use it for years to come for (my kids')school projects, Christmas letters, crafty stuff and the like. I would recommend this as an excellent home-use paper cutter.

Awesome cutter.....so much better than the ones in office max and staples. This one is solid. Grips the table well and slices nicely thru multiple sheets. You'll be very pleased, and the price is outstanding.

Really great trimmer at the absolute best price out there! The extra paper holder is a great feature. My only complaint is the minute amount of black residue (paint I think as it can be brushed off) left on the edges of the bright white paper I cut. I am hoping that will stop with time and use. Quick delivery and secure packaging were greatly appreciated.

I need to be able to cut multiple sheets of paper and different types of paper (chip board, foam board, card stock, etc.)and make clean cuts with hairline precision.
