Piñata Alcohol Inks

Piñata Colors, developed by artist Susan Pickering Rothamel and Jacquard are indelible, intense, color saturated, transparent, acid-free, alcohol-based colorants. Use these vibrant colors in a variety of applications, including leather and marble-like faux finish backgrounds, rubber stamping, fiber arts, calligraphy, glass painting and airbrushing. Use Piñata on paper, glass, plastic and metal just to name a few surfaces. Highly adaptable, these colors can also be mixed with a variety of other products to produce unique color blending. 1/2 oz. squeeze bottles. Use with Piñata Color Clean Up Solution and Piñata Claro Extender, both specifically designed for use with Piñata colors.

These inks are lovely and color fast ...I use them on cloth to create backgounds for fused applique using rubbing alcohol and the inks...fun...

I use alcohol inks on Yupo paper. It is a great way to create very loose and spontaneous paintings.

I prefer this product to the competition's (Rangers) alcohol inks, as these are more saturated...thus the colors are much more intense. The formulation must be different because on shiny or smooth surfaces, they dry more quickly and are much more glossy. Especially beautiful on cured polymer clay and PERFECT to create faux stone or paper effects on anything. So permanent these inks once dry can be buffed using a muslin buffing wheel to add even more shine, or to knock down some of the depth or gloss for a satiny smooth sheen. Can be thinned with regular (inexpensive drugstore) alcohol, cleanup is a snap using regular isopropyl!

These are WONDERFUL, vibrant inks. For a while, I abandoned these in favor of the Adirondack inks, but the more I work in ink, the more I find myself reaching for the Pinatas. Also- BAJA BLUE is a wonderful, bright turquoise color, and SENORITA MAGENTA is a VERY bright fuschia. The MisterArt color samples aren't exactly true to color, so if you are looking for a great turquoise ink, the BAJA BLUE is perfect. My only complaint? The dropper tip to the bottle is broader than I would like. I use pipettes to dispense the ink because the bottles put out too large a drop for fine detail work. But other than that, beautiful!

The inks are wonderful, I used them to make a frame using foil tape and it colored it just great. I am going to be trying them with other crafts that I do.

These colors are glorious. Using them on polymer clay at the moment for mokume gane and they do everything and more that they promise. Need more!

Incredible product! I've used it to make background for my Christmas cards and for many other stamping projects. I sort of feel like an ancient alchemist while seeing all the colors mixed.

The Pinata inks colors are vibrant unlike the Adirondak inks. Great colors that are a necessity for any cardmaker. Works great on polymer clay, paper, glass, tile, etc.
