This is my first easel, aside from a small table-top one. I bought it on the recommendation of Jerry Yarnell in one of his books. I like it most because of the price. I wasn't sure I needed or would use an easel. But I REALLY like this easel. I set it up myself quickly and it is extremely useful.

We have used the Stranrite 500 easels in our art class and found it to be a very good easel. It is sturdy and will hold large canvases as well as small ones. Can't beat it for price!

This is the nicest easel I have ever used. It was very easy to set up and is very easy to adjust. I usually work with larger canvases and it is great but will also work with smaller canvases, too. It is very sturdy...(I have two boys under the age of 6) It breaks down easily too, and wipes clean. I would recommend it to anyone for their studio or home.
