My rating is for the price. Haven't used it yet, but this morning bought TWO of them at Michael's (in order to try them) and paid $3 each for 8 x 10. Next ones I will get at misterart.com like I do most of my art supplies.

I just got these a few weeks ago. Tried them out they are wonderful with pastels, acrylics and pencil. I love them. Great smooth surface. I tried canvas boards and when I tried to draw with pencil it would break them because of the hard surface. But they were smooth and didn't. I love these boards. Actually after a couple days of using 3 of them I bought a bigger size plus 2 11 x14 and a 12 x16 i believe it was. \They are great. Would def recommend them and would def use them again.

The gesso boards are perfect for glue and dye mixes. The super smooth result is better than I anticipated.

I have Parkinson's disease, which makes preparing canvass a challenge. This product provides a hard surface that is very easy to work with. I did not have any problems with buckling, which I have had with some other products.

These boards are awesome for acrylic. They provide a smooth, solid surface alowing colors to blend and flow well and textures can be easlily added before painting using additional gesso or other materials.

Great price and they work very well for the water colors I do. I used both normal water color paints and water color penciles. Mistakes were easy to wash off with these boards. I actually put them directly under the sink.

Was a little difficult getting used to such a smooth surface for painting, but it worked out fine. Quick shipping and great packaging.
