Excellent tool! I have a "Heavy" hand when writing and break .5mm leads constantly. This pencil has solved my breakage problems with the special sleeve. Could not be happier!

It tooks years of trying mechanical pencils to find one that 1) works every time 2) can be load without breaking 2 out of 3 leads 3) doesn't jam and 4) feels "right" when I use it. The only problem is colleagues and a spouse who like to "borrow" it. I have ordered 3 more and am hiding 2 for emergencies.

The shaker pens are truly execptional. Once you get used to the "one shake of hand" lead advance system, nothing else really does the job that well.
I bought these specially for my father, who refuses to use any other type of pencil.
This is a well built, unique classic pencil evryone should try out.

Two features that are special to this pencil are the "unique sliding sleeve" & shake to advance lead. The sliding sleeve is a practical feature that protect the sleeve from damage in case of drop. The design though bulky is very sexy and sleek; reminds me of a bumble bee.
In addition, you will surely be rewarded with hours of fun, while you are taking note or making detailed drawings with just a shake of fine writing instrument.

Hands down the best mechanical pencil ever released. I've never ran across anything better. Definitely keep these in stock.

I've been using a Shaker since they first came out. The first Shaker was slimmer & one that I prefer, but the two that I bought from you are still better that any lead writing instrument available today! Keep them in stock!

I've used the shaker for every test I've ever taken. Really the best writing most convient mechanical pencil on market. I bought 2 here just in case I lost my others.

I had a Pilot shaker pencil years ago and lost it. I've been searching for years for another and could never find one. When I found the pencil at misterart.com I was thrilled. I placed the order and it same within a few short days. I give it a 5!

I have had one of these Shakers since I was at the university. I'm still using it! It's easy to use and convinient, since you almost do not need to move for more lead. I lost mine while moving and looked for it everywhere. This was almost the only place where I found it... and at a very good price, I really looked everywhere!

I have had one of these Shakers since my college days back in '88! I still use it every day. It is nice not to have to move your fingers up to click for more lead. Just a quick flip of the wrist, and keep on writing.
I didn't think that they were still in production, and for kicks I did a Google search and found this site. Now I'm going to order several more to have around the house and work.
If you want a good mechanical pencil, at a good price, get one. Actually get several!
