Mona Lisa metal leafing products are made from the finest German materials, and are recognized as some of the best metal leafing metals available. Perfect for home decor, decoupage, or stenciling. Use it on wood, ceramic, metal, plaster of paris, glass, plastic, and paper. Basic instructions included. Sheets are 5 1/2 in. x 5 1/2 in.

Composition Gold Leaf is made up of copper and zinc which, when combined, closely resemble the pure finish of authentic gold metals. Imitation gold will darken (antique) if left uncoated.

The imitation silver is made from aluminum and will not tarnish or fade.

Because the copper leaf is genuine, it will tarnish and patina when exposed to certain chemicals--coating can prevent this.

I have used several different brands of metal leafs, but the Mona Lisa metal leafs have worked the best for me. the overall quality is better and the easiest to handle when applying.

I love to use metal leafing in my art projects! It can get expensive though. I found that "Mister Art" Metal leafing products were very competive in pricing,actually less expensive for the same name product! I also joined your VIP club membership which added to my savings! A wonderful product that is comparable to the 24 karat cousin. There is more forgiveness to this product than the latter.

The quality was excellent, packaging was perfect. Easy to use and the manufacturer's instructions were concise and made the job easy. Never tried this before but got the results I had hoped for with little effort. Any concerns were dispelled with the first application.
