Winsor & Newton Artists’ Acrylic paint is a superior range of acrylics, offering a wide color spectrum, maximum permanence, optimum brilliance and intensity of color, and unsurpassed covering power and tinting strength.

The range has been formulated to a soft, buttery consistency and provides excellent retention of brush stroke marks. Artists’ Acrylics also have a slightly longer open time than other acrylics, giving extra time on the canvas for blending. They dry to a non-tacky, uniform satin finish and show no color shift from wet color to dry finish.

These acrylics can be used on canvas, paper, wood, degreased leather, and any other surface that is not too greasy or glossy. Water soluble when wet and water resistant when dry, their versatility can be further extended by the use of Winsor & Newton acrylic mediums and gels.

The colors come in 60 ml tubes, and 200 ml tubes of ivory black and titanium white

With Finity, you can't go wrong!. Great pigment for a great price. One of my favourites next to Golden. Beautiful colour and consistency. Plus, one of the best caps on tube paint I've found! Easy to remove, never clogs -- unlike Galeria's tubes.

I have been using GOLDEN acrylics for the past 10 years, (which I love), and just tried a few colors with this brand. I must say they are exquisite. Theres a certain intensity in the colors Ive tried that seems to magically transcend the colors of other brands. There's something VERY special about these paints. I intend to purchase more. They are SO different than Goldens, that I may have to duplicate my entire palette. (and use both!)

Finity acrylics have plenty of pigment and are definity thicker than most acrylics. They blend well with other acrylic brands.

These are by far my favorite brand of acrylics. What is most important for me is lightfastness, and these are the best I've used in that area. I also love the soft consistency to them.

These acrylics are much thicker than the Liquitex Basic brand. They tend to me more difficult to dilute with water. The thick quality allows painting with a more visible brush stroke. I used an acrylic medium to render these smoother in texture.

I love these acrylics. They don't have a dramatic color change when they dry. They last longer in the tube than others and the texture and flow of these paints is perfect. I have used them in transparent washes, dry brush and blending. I'm pleased.

I remember when I first used the Winsor & Newton acrylic paints. I disliked the stretchy, plastic quality of other acrylic brands, but I didn't have the space and ventilation to use oil paints. I tried the Winsor & Newton acrylics, and found them to be incredibly creamy and a pleasure to use. They blend beautifully, and the colors are very high quality. If you haven't liked using acrylic paint in the past, this brand will surely change your mind.

I have used Winsor Newton paints since 1970 and found them not only great in quality and usability, but when used with isolation layering, to achieve a depth that make dark paintings have a mysterious glow. They also seem to have absolute color integrity - I have paintings 40 years plus old with no change whatsoever
