This classic set contains 12 tubes (59 ml., 2 U.S. fl. oz.) of Liquitex Heavy Body Professional Acrylic Artist Colors: brilliant blue, bronze yellow, cadmium red light hue, cadmium yellow medium hue, dioxazine purple, emerald green, ivory black, phthalocyanine blue (green shade), phthalocyanine green (blue shade), quinacridone magenta, and titanium white.

Heavy Body Professional Acrylic Artist Colors (formerly known as High Viscosity Acrylic Colors) are heavy body paints with a high pigment load and intense color. They possess an exceptionally smooth, thick buttery consistency that retains brush strokes and has little to no wet-to-dry color shift. They’re great for thick/impasto applications.

Also available in individual tubes and larger sizes.

I have Liquitex acrylic paints in my supply but I was needing more. I ordered the set thinking I would get a basic selection of colors. The set does not include basic red, brown or blue. You receive two white which is nice. However the colors I was really in need were not included. My fault as it has been some 30 plus years that I pick up a brush and I have forgotten about the range of colors and the descriptions used. But over all the paint itself is excellent, money well spent

This is my first time using Liquitex Brand paints & I'm very impressed. The texture is very smooth & the colors are brilliant. Also, the color range in this set is pretty good. There's at least one of each color in the spectrum plus a "brownish" shade (Bronze Yellow) which looks like dark khaki. The Acra Magenta (Acra Violet) actually looks like a cool red...similar to Alizarin Crimson. The color printed on the tube appears purple, though. Cadmium Red Light Hue (Scarlet Red) is more of a warm orange. I use my set for landscapes & florals. With this "high viscosity" formulation, I'm able to get some nice textures.
