I found out about this product through an interview I read with assemblage artist, Michael deMeng. I found it to work superbly and as advertised. I highly recommend this product for the results it gives when you are trying to give an object an aged look with patina.

unlike many other products I've used in the past, this works great. It is not a finish, but actually speeds up the patina process. Would recommend to anyone.

My copper turned green, as I wanted it to, soon after application. But it peeled and flaked off and did not stick to my surprise.

this product is fantastic. instead of waiting 75 years a patina in hours. to make it adhere, one has to not apply too much at one time. and of course, a clear coat gives it protection from just rubbing off. i keep using modern options products because they are reliable. plus i don't have to work with pure copper all the time, can make patina on any surface by using their other metallic coatings first.
