For professionals and amateurs involved in the photographic and related arts. Rediscover the diversity and satisfaction of direct image enhancement via hand applied altered techniques on prints, film, transparencies, negatives and other surfaces. Photo Oils can be intermixed for a vast range of color combinations from soft and muted to bold and intense. The self blending colors may be applied over each other to produce nearly any shade desired. The merging of painting techniques and photographic imagery enables the artist to attain the best of both worlds by maintaining control over the final result of the print. Glossy prints should be prepared by using Marshall's Pre-Color Spray.

Introductory Set contains 5 assorted 1/2 in. x 2 in. oil color tubes including flesh, greyed background blue, cadmium yellow, sepie, ivory black, cotton, skewers, and instructions for use with black & white and color photographs.

You must have this stuff! No joke, I bought it and its amazing! Really if you do black and white photos and you are interested in oils, your at the right place! They work so good, and they aren't even expensive, go for it and you'll see how much you love them!!I know that I sure did!

Marshall's Oil Paints are extremely forgiveable IF you have the Marlene Solution. The more advanced sets come with the Marlene Solution, but it seems to me that beginners are the people in need of media forgiveness. Hence, I think this product would be better if it came with the Marlene solution too. If you are a beginner about to order to order the beginner's set of Marshall's Oil paints be prepared to make one other purchase! You'll be glad you had Marshall's Marlene Solution. It will take you back to Black!
