Added to oil paints, mediums, and varnishes, this is a balsam that lends an exquisite jewel-like quality with a tough enamel-like surface. A resin extracted from European larch trees, Sennelier offers it in its pure undiluted honey-like state. Dilute with turpentine 20 percent. Use sparingly, 5 percent maximum of total paint mixture.
