Artist’s Paintstik Oil Colors can be spread or blended and used in conjunction with conventional oil paints. They are self-sealing; just peel the seal before using. There are no unpleasant odors or fumes, so you can paint virtually anywhere, at any time.

Artist’s Paintstik Oil Colors work on almost any surface, including canvas, paper, wood, plastic, metal, glass, and glazed ceramics. They’re also great for stamping, stenciling, and even fabric decorating!

In most cases, the paint dries within 24 hours. The sticks measure 4 1/2 in. x 5/8 in.

Greatest thing since sliced bread:=) Painting w oils w/o all the mess and toxic smells. Each stick seals itslef and you just wipe it off to use. Mix and blend. I use these primarily on fabric (the irridescents) and love 'em.

This is a fun product, especially if you want to fingerpaint afterwards. Not quite as nice as a first coat application as I would've liked (the weave of the canvas creates more texture in the applied area), but applies nicely once background colors have been put down.

I cannot tell Artists enough about Shiva Oil Paintstiks! The are so fun to use.I enjoy painting,but my real strength in art is my drawing skills, this allows me to have the feeling of drawing,in a paint medium. Paintstiks allow you to draw, paint and smudge.Another great thing is their convenience! The box set is so easy to take on the go. They come in a box with individual foam slots so they do not roll around and the box has a slide cover to keep securely on. Each stik is also individually wrapped in a cardboard tube which allows for hands to stay clean when needed. It's a must have item for all artists!

I'm new to using paint sticks, have only done two paintings and so far I love them. The quick-drying feature, so you can pack your painting with a clear plastic wrap after just overnight and put it is your suitcase is great. It didn't smudge a bit. I was delighted to discover how wonderfully the colorless blender works, too.

I am new to the world of card making and when I asked around to all the professionals from whom I bought my brass stencils, what they use to get clean lines and a professional look I was told to use SHIVA Oil Paintstiks, what a wonderful surprize how easy it made painting a card, starting from the very first one, the colors go on easy, blend with ease,the clean up is a breeze, I can't imagine using anything else. Thank you for having them at a reasonable price, I will never use anything else to paint my cards.

Service was prompt, prices good, and I was so happy to find these. They are wonderful to use with oil pastels...teaching HS students. We never have enough white, plus these allow the pastel to be much more easily manipulated.

This was the only place I could get these in the colors I was looking for (titanium white, ivory black...)--everyone else was either (a) out of THOSE colors or (b)only had expensive versions (I am taking a class). And delivery was swift. Great deal.

I love these paint sticks! I use them for stenciling, and they blend so much better than acrylics. The colors are vibrant and it makes the stencils easy to clean. The only drawback is having to remove the dried paint "cap". It's easy to snap off the whole top of the paint stick. Other than that, these paint sticks are pretty durable, easy to clean, and easy to store. I don't worry about my kids getting into them.

Love the Shiva Paintstiks! As a mixed media artist, I like having something I can lay my hands on quickly for use on both paper and fabric; and they are so long-lasting that the price is not an issue. (But if you use them on fabric, let them dry for about a week before heat-setting.)
