Gamsol Odorless Mineral Spirits

Excellent solvent for thinning Gamblin mediums and for general painting, including studio and brush cleanup. Flashpoint 145 degrees F. Using Gamsol, painters can work with pure odorless mineral spirits with a slow evaporation rate and a high permissible exposure level. Painters who are using Gamsol and Galkyd do not need respirator masks or exhaust systems.

The extra cost of this product is so worth it! Not only is there no odor while i paint, but my brushes are not giving off any odor while they are in my case between painting sessions. It's the best, I hope you all will enjoy it too.

I love Gamblin products but I am torn about this particular one. I switched to Gamsol because it is supposed to work just as well as other products on the market, and Turpenoid was making me feel really sick. I was sold on the fact that it has a lower evaporation rate than turpentine and is not absorbed by unbroken skin. I think that its working properties have been compromised in the process of making it more safe. it's true that it doesn't make me feel so bad after painting, but it doesn't seem to thin out my paints or clean my brushes as well as Turpenoid. I guess that is a small price to pay for a safer studio environment.

A fellow artist recommended Gamsol because it is a better product for health reasons. Although it is more expensive than normal odor free products, it seems worth the cost for better health particularly when using oil paints inside. I am very pleased with the product.

I was having a really hard time trying to find mineral spirits in my area. They are not something that I need to use in great quantity, but when I need them, I can use nothing else. The odorless quality of this brand is a godsend for me, as I have multiple chemical sensitivities disorder, and the reek of chemicals can make me very sick. I can use the Gamblin product without any fear of reaction, as long as I use the recommended safety precautions.

This is a wonderful product. My friends and I have found it to be the best thing for blending colored pencils. And the price is absolutely awesome. This is an awesome product for anyone who wants to remove turpentine from your studio. It cleans up brushes and the studio as well as the other products out there but with less fumes. Much safer to work when thinning oils than turpentine. Good choice if you want to have a safer enviroment to work in.

This is the safe and perfect odorless thinner. I found it's even more "odorless" than other oderless terpenoid products which actually have some oder. Also, it works very well. I definitely recommend it.

Due to it's odorless & slow drying properties, it lends itself well as a magical blending solution for standard colored art pencils! All you need is a good quality paper stump. I enjoy the effect.
