I have recently tried this product for the first time, and am very pleased. It has a matte finish that enhances the underlying colors with no shiny glare, and protects the painted surface. My only complaint is the toxicity of the product. The warning label states that adequate ventilation is necessary, so I use a little fan and an open window when applying the varnish.
