Their color is pure and extremely lightfast, and the mineral colors have incredible granulation, a definite advantage for artists concerned with texture. Each tube is individually labeled with special information for the ease of the artist: the lightfast rating, whether the color is non-staining, its complimentary color, and its pigment makeup.

The Wooden Box Set contains eight tubes (15 ml) of Steve Quiller Professional Watercolor. Colors are cadmium yellow light, vermilion, quinacridone rose, ultramarine violet, ultramarine blue, Richeson blue, Richeson green, and burnt sienna. The set also comes with a free Steve Quiller palette for holding and mixing your paints.

I rec'd some paints at a Stephen Quiller art class and have since bought more. I've tested them next to other brands, Holbein, Winsor & Newton, Old Holland, and in each case the colors were clean and clear, easy to work with and much more pleasing when dry. So now I'm buying more and getting rid of some of my others.
