I love these paints! I was pleasantly surprised by the low price and delighted with the rich pigments and handy mixing palettes. After using mostly student-grade paints for so long, using these was a real treat! I too, however, wish the individual palettes were labeled on the bottoms. My advice would be to do it yourself.

I bought this for home use. The size of the container is just right, but not roomy enough for long brushes. Small brushes store well. The case is sturdy, and washes easily.

Beautiful intense color that maintains integrity even in light washes. Also great portability for on site work. Keep the color chart though, otherwise reordering is challenging since niether the cakes of color nor the box are labeled.

For those of us who prefer to paint in the English way with watercolor "Pans", this is an excellent set. The 24 full pans are vivid and true and more than enough to obtain any color or effect you might wish. My only criticism is that almost half the pans were without a description (color and number) on the bottom--a real pain when it comes time to reorder.

This is definitely a great set of watercolors - the best I've used. I agree that they are not well marked. I suggest labelling the bottom of the pans and where they were located on the tray with a permanant marker (or keep the chart, which I didn't) - if you drop them on the floor (as I did!) and they go all over, it's not easy to figure out what order they originally were in. Don't let that keep you from trying the best pan colors around! The colors are wonderful and my paintings have really shown the difference.

If you are looking for full pan watercolors, this set is superb. I could not find any full pans (usually only sold in Europe and not the states) until I found them here. The colors are very vibrant, and you'll be glad you got full pans instead of half pans.
