A very smooth and bright white bristol paper. It is termed "student" grade by Canson because they offer a "professional" 2-ply version, but this paper is wonderful for highly detailed pencil work. I have tried many different brands of bristol and this is one of my favorites. It is great for scanning subtle detail because of its bright white tone. I hope MisterArt will carry larger sizes (9x12 is largest size currently offered).

Nice thick paper and easy to work with, but doesn't have enough tooth for working with soft pastels. Might get 5 stars for other mediums. Sturdy.
