This high rag content paper is ideal for oil and soft pastels, chalk, graphite or colored pencils. Also recommended for watercolor, gouache, acrylic work, and silk screen purposes. 98 lb. paper. 24 sheets--4 sheets each of white, sand, red earth, dawn pink, flannel gray, and light blue. Pads are glue bound on one side.

I love this paper. I have favorite colors but the pads are the best way to "challenge yourself" to do something cool on colors you wouldn't gravitate toward. Everyone in my drawing workshops always asks what I'm drawing on when I use this paper. I use charcoal, pastel pencils, graphite, prismacolor mostly.

I do a lot of quick portrait studies in pastel and find Canson paper is the best product for those purposes.
