The newsprint is a perfect place to try out paints and marker colors, apply adhesives, mask off a straight edge, and so many other times when it's necessary to use a throw away.

Initially I was a little disappointed with this product. However, Since I do a lot of life drawing sketches I find this paper very acceptable for quick 2, 3 and 5 minute poses. This is my warm up paper and I can discard these drawings without feeling guilty.

This is great for the students to draw rough sketches for Landscape Design in a Agricultural Science program. "sloppy copy" can use up a lot of paper with a class of 30 kids.
