This paper is the best for graphite and pastel pencil drawing. It's very correctible, and I'm happy to find a source for it. Now if only Strathmore still made Renewal paper.

This is the greatest paper: smooth finish with interesting coloration. Perfect for backgrounds and building layers of colored pencil or pastel. Ink lines flow nicely over the smooth surface as well. MisterArt.com does a great job packing it to assure no wrinkles or folds.

It's hard finding a colored paper that performs well for colored pencil. Most colored papers are created with a slant toward pastel, but I've finally found one that worked for me. The Artagain line has a fine, firm surface that holds up under colored pencils beautifully and can take gentle erasing without showing marks or holding eraser debris like traditional pastel papers. Both loose sheet and pads are of a consistent quality, then add the bonus of containing recycled materials and being acid free and I'm reluctant to buy anything else.

I like working pastel landscapes with Strathmore black Artagain paper. The paper adds a depth of color while not chewing up all my expensive Sennelier pastels. The added touch of virtue for using recycled paper adds an extra pleasure.

This paper is excellent! It is great for pencil or pastel (my favorites) and can be used to in your inkjet printer, or even be taken to a commercial printer to have color laser copies of your artwork. Also its recycled and acid-free!!
