This turned out to be a really versatile buy. I wound up extracting the pages from the spiral binding, creating next year's datebook on my PC and printing them on this gorgeous paper, then re-binding it to create an absolutely unique and attention-getting journal for the coming year -- something I will treasure forever. GREAT buy.

I love the look and feel of the Cachet Studio Sketch Books and the colors they come in. Unfortunately, I paint art on the cover and the manufacturer puts the sticker right on the cover insetead of the plastic sleeve. when the label is removed if leaves a rectangular stain. Also, after one art show with the hand painted books displayed under a canopy in filtered sun, it left a "stain" or "shadow" under the black strap that flaps over the cover. They should consider putting all labels on the plastic sleeve and not on the product and I will buy more of them.

These are my favorite Sketch books ever. The 8"x10" size with the spiral on top makes it easy to fit into bags. The paper is great for any medium. perfect for the NYC artist who pulls the old sketch book out on the subway or in the park or anywhere.

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this sketchbook. The paper is great for pen and pencil drawings because of its heavy weight and smooth texture. I also liked the spiral binding so that the pages don't fall out. The hard cover protects the paper, and is thick enough that it won't let the paper edges bend.
