When I retired I started keeping a daily journal. The CANSON basic sketch book suits me perfectly for this purpose. The price is reasonable and the response time of MisterArt is outstanding.

I use these sketch books with pencil or acid free, indelible inks, both to sketch and to keep a journal. They suit my needs, although sometimes the spine breaks free of the cover. The paper is best suited to pen and ink or pencil.
