A great choice for a bound sketchbook! Paper is very heavy, and lays flat when drawing. Paper color is an off-white, so it's not for those who prefer the bright white of most sketchbooks. The 5x8 is my preferred size, and is small enough to be a good on-the-go sketchbook.

This thing is grand. Heavy, smooth paper, and lays flat, even though it is a bound instead of wirebound. The back pocket is handy, and the elastic closure is, in my opinion, a must for a travel sketch/notebook. The ribbon bookmark makes finding unused pages easy. A bit pricey at some places, but overall well worth the money.

Excellent, it has so many great features, sturdy, will take most media, great for travels. Elastic closure, pocket, heavy smooth paper but best of all opens and lays flat for easy use.

I just love this sketch book: you can just about take it any where, any time. I'm never with out a sketch book so the smaller they are when I travel, the better. They are just suberb!

If you like the finer things in life, this is the notebook for you. Excellent quality. If you don't like working on tinted paper though, I'd recommend something else. The paper in these is a cream color instead of bright white, it's very good quality, very thick. India ink feathers only a little on it. The pocket in back is really cool as well, holds all sorts of stuff I'd probably lose in the course of a day. I carry two now, one lined, for writing, and one sketch, for ink drawing...they're lovely!

The paper is smooth, nice and thick, so wet media wont ruin it. The elastic strap is helpful also

Super handy sketchbook for an artist who's on the go. Nice quality paper, the elastic and pocket are bonuses because they can hold a few pencils or other supplies.
