This is a wonderfully complete little kit. If you are investing in clayboards, go ahead and get this so you make the most of your boards. It contains 6 tools that provide a wide variety of marks. Another plus is the instructions included on the card that are very succinct but useful. If you don't mind compressing the steel wool a bit, it all fits in the Art Bin Pen and Nib box.

New user,I tried it on the black clayboard, it came out pretty good for a first timer. Wish you could write more directions. Liked the free gift (clayboard) nice touch.

Pretty good tool kit. I didn't know how to use a couple of the tools properly to create the effects they were intended for. There weren't any clear directions. The rest of the tools were great and work well with the Ampersand clayboard.

I love the tool kit, it has all the tools I need,except one. If there was a finer line fiberglass brush it would be perfect. It would be great to have for thinner lines when you don't want to use a point. When you need a softer line, not stark. I would definitely suggest anyone who is interested in using clayboard,(which is great), get the tool kit.
