Great paper. I'm a beginner but it works great for me.

Arches Paper is excellent for watercolor, gouche, acrylics, and silkscreen printmaking, The texture is just enough to hold paint without being intrusive. It is a good all-around paper. The paper is tough enough to soak un-sucessful watercolor pieces in hot water for removal of excess paints for a fresh start. This feature alone makes Arches Paper a great investment. Glue stick well to the paper thus making it useful for collage work. I have prints that I made on Arches Paper in the 70's. The paper has not yellowed nor deteriorated in any way. I am most pleased with this finely crafted product and recommend it for beginners and advanced professional artists.

Arches is the very best quality watercolor paper I've ever had the pleasure of using. It can take alot of wet in wet work and rubbing out. I really love it and recommend it highly!

The best. This was my first time working on Arches. I like the way the watercolor takes to the paper and the ease of lifting it off without harming the paper.
