I bought this paper as a gift for my artist dad. Although he prefers the more expensive french watercolor paper, he was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the Strathmore paper, and said he would use it again. Good paper for the price!

This watercolor paper is an essential item for my oilstick work. It has an interesting tooth that adds quite a bit to my big, colorful drawings. I'm involved in a life drawing group right now and I use tons of paper (and am getting wonderful results). I ran out of paper a couple of weeks ago and I'm really, really grateful to MisterArt.com for sending my order so quickly that I didn't miss a session.

This is a fun paper for intermediate to beginners. I don't have much trouble with it curling. You can leave miskit on for awhile without it being impossible to get off. With the higher quality papers you have to get the miskit off within hours.
