I usually buy Canson note/sketchbooks at Hobby Lobby. They cost $3.77 each including tax. They have 50 pages. The paper is printed on one side only. It has a nice "tooth." Hobby Lobby has discontinued this item. The Bienfang note sketch books are printed on both sides of the page. They have a glossier slick surface & 64 sheets. Each Bienfang note/sketchbook costs me $8.70 including tax, S&H. I prefer the Canson note/sketch books.

I can't say enough great things about this book. My homeschooled kids love being able to write and draw for daily journal entries. They make up stories and use their creativity. Thanks for such a wonderful tool.

I don't like notebooks with all lined pages so this is a great compromise. I have bought several of these. They are great gifts for kids who want to write and illustrate their own stories.

I ordered this bienfang note sketch book after I took a jewelry class. I love how you can write notes on one side and sketch designs on the other. the sale price made this book very affordable.

This is a cool little journal to have. The pages are setup just right to express thoughts in different ways by line and blank area on the same page. You can write, draw, or even paste and the pages are thick so it doesn't run through. Only bad thing is the cover would look better if it was more plain, allowing you to personalize it easier.

I have been using this brand of sketch book for years! I really like the vertical half page of lined and half blank. It makes it so you can write your list and draw your ideas as well!
