Marshall's Oil Paints are extremely forgiveable IF you have the Marlene Solution. The more advanced sets come with the Marlene Solution, but it seems to me that beginners are the people in need of media forgiveness. Hence, I think this product would be better if it came with the Marlene solution too. If you are a beginner about to order to order the beginner's set of Marshall's Oil paints be prepared to make one other purchase! You'll be glad you had Marshall's Marlene Solution. It will take you back to Black!
