The LightTracer offers a fast and easy way to trace designs and patterns for memory books, embossing, quilting, stenciling, sewing projects, and numerous other creative uses. This low cost, durable, laptop size light box features a conveniently slanted 10" x 12" illuminated work surface and a handy recessed tray for holding your tracing and embossing tools. A long-life 8-watt fluorescent lamp is included.

Available replacement bulb is an 8 watt, 12 in. fluorescent daylight tube. This replacement bulb has a 7500 hour life.

I recently purchased the LightTracer for making my wedding save the date cards and invitations. I needed the LightTracer to use my brass embossing templates and tools better. I dig this light box simply for its size and wieght. It's bright enough to let me see through two sheets of Blue Line paper (Bristol board essentially) and I can sling it around on my lap or easel from a thin space between my desk and bookshelf. In contrast to older incarnations of light boxes in which one must strap on the wieght-lifter's back brace before lugging it out, or the later versions made of tin or aluminium that would snag and tear anything from clothes to virile flesh on one tiny corner of the awkward beast of a contraption this small, plastic and light cheat-box is a peach.

I do a lot of designer tee shirts with paints, silk embroidery and rhinestones...I draw out my ideas then use the lite Box to make my iron on transfers....Saves me time and frustration doing it this way..and keeps my original designes in mint condition...thank you

Excellent customer service. Shipment received faster than anticipated and in perfect condition. This is very useful on so many of my needlework projects. It is small and lightweight so it is easy to carry with me anywhere. The pricing is excellent and will continue to make purchases. Actually, I've yet to open the box because this is an Easter gift for my son, age 11. However, he uses this exact product at school in art class and just loves it. It's bright, easy to use, light (in terms of weight) and the right price! In fact, MisterArt had it for at least $7-10 less than the major craft-store retailers! Plus, you pay no tax and with low to no- shipping costs, it was a steal! Thanks Mr. Art!

This is a very handy lightbox. It is a nice compact size and does a great job of lighting your work surface. If you are tracing artwork it evens works well with thick high quality art paper. I also like the small tool tray for holding pens and other tools.

While a little bulkier than I had anticipated, this light box is excellent. The box is excellent for animation and for general art use. If anyone wants a low-cost light box, this is the unit for you.

this tracer is a good size & very lite weight. i only wish it had a better way to fasten the edges of paper so there isn't as much slipping. over all im happy with it though.
