American Society of Portrait Artists
The American Society of Portrait Artists, the largest portrait artist patron organization in the world, is an international association dedicated to furthering the fine art of portraiture and supporting the individual artist. The Society is lead by a distinguished advisory board of directors, all dedicated to developing an agenda that will increasingly provide every possible resource for serious portrait artists. The Society provides a means for networking with portrait artists and is a forum to provide valuable information, research materials, and links to seminars.
As a cartoonist, I've found only the 100 nib to be one
that acts like a brush in that it gives me the thick and thin line that I desire, and a very thin line as well. It
handles well and is very flexible.
This is by far the best ink I have used for my comics!
Consistency is perfect. Pigment has the tendency to settle at the bottom of the bottle but I just stir it with a brush and it dissolves quickly.
I buy this product in batches, because I am terrified that it will be discontinued.
Joe Kubert's school recommended this ink.
These magnets are awesome!
I use them for numerous things, gluing them to flashlights so they won't rattle in a car.
Glued one on a old fine paint brush to sweep off my keyboard on my computer, storing it on a file cabinet in the room. Hold a piece of metal to be welded on a vehicle.
But the glue utilized must be strong, for the first stuff I used, the magnet tore loose from the flashlight. I use JB Weld-minute weld epoxy.
