I've been using Bestine thinner for several years now. I use it for constructing rubber garments. It's wonderful for cleaning all the extra glue. The only thing I hate is that I always spill it everywhere. If you make a mess like I do, I recommend buying one of the smaller 4oz cans to use on a regular baisis. Use a larger one to re-fill it. Misterart.com always ships fast and has wonderful service!

Everyone on the planet needs a can of this solvent/thinner. It totally removes any sticky residue from price tags, tape, labels, etc. I've used it for years and years and keep a supply at home and at work. My co-workers are always borrowing mine. MisterArt.com gets an A+ too!

Got it for table tennis usage as mentioned by others. Mixed with rubber cement, it definitely creates more spin. I expect to use it in other ways too. MisterArt.com had the best price and got it to me really fast. Will certainly buy from them again.

I've used Bestine since working in drafting and publication design departments back in wax "pasteup" days. It takes wax out of tablecloths and carpets and off candlesticks, takes tape/pricetags and their residual stickum off even paper surfaces without damaging the surface. Removes oils (even from fingerprints) to prepare a perfectly clean, non-inhibiting surface even for the finest ink linework. It WILL smear carbon type, and test colors first. (I removed red paint off an ornament once.) Taking grease out of clothing leaves a little "watermark" that usually comes out in the wash. I understand it works great for its originally intended purpose--to thin or remove rubber cement. I have not personally used it for that. It does NOT dissolve water-based glues. Never forget that it's HIGHLY FLAMMABLE so work in a safe place!

I use a lot of rubber cement - for photo albums and greeting cards. The thinner enables me to use all in the jar as it dries up quickly just from having the lid off. You are the only place I have found that will send it (Fed-Ex) without paying a huge "hazardous" fee - some even wanted $25 extra. This is my second order, thank you. It performs as stated.

My use is for colored pencils, it works as a great solvent for giving the pencils a "painted" look. A little goes a long way. This is a great quality and it has so many uses and applications. I haven't used it to remove glue but now that i have heard it dose that i will. I am going to find out just how many things i can use it for. looks like the sky is the limit. Don't just buy it for the usages listed. You wont be disappointed, great bargain, great price. I also think that if you find it for something different that listed here in the reviews you should also tell us what you do with it, it will help us all out that like to review before purchasing new products.

I use this product for cleaning tape residue from plastic pieces I mill on my CNC machine. It works great.

I received my order in a timely manner. I had hoped for free delivery but did not get it because the solvent I ordered had to be specially shipped. However, I was told this up front and it was no surprise. I am satisfied with the product and service.

I couldn't survive w/out a can of Bestine in my arsonal of chemical cures for sticky, greasy and hard to remove evils. And don't even THINK about using that Ross brand that many stores sell. Plus my order arrived quickly!

I have used Bestine for many years as a thinner for rubber cement. I am just beginning to learn how many other uses there are for it as a solvent! I have already found it vastly superior to a number of brands sold specifically for removal of old tape and labels and the sticky residue. It does it faster and cleaner than anything else I've used.

I, too, have been using Bestine for almost 20 years. It began with removing wax from layout boards and halftones (weren't those the days!?) Now I use it for everything from price tag removal to petrified Scotch tape cleanup on garage sale items. Items look like new with no surface damage. I wouldn't be without it.

I have been using Bestine Thinner for almost 20 years. It was an absolute necessity for my print shop, where I used it to remove wax from artwork without causing damage or leaving residue. The print shop is long gone, but I cannot live without my Bestine. Every household needs some--to remove labels price tags. It is FAR better than using alcohol or WD40 for this purpose. It even lifted permanent Scotch tape off a Yellow Pages ad which a customer provided for "artwork" without tearing or leaving any oily stain! Bestine is the Best!

Well, I'm using this for a very unusual application, but as I understand it many people are using it to thin out table tennis speed glue. I know Zeropong.com has this site listed as the place to get bestine thinner. I can tell those of you interested in using it for this application that it is exactly the same thing as what table-tennis retailers are selling as booster for $30 a liter. For those of you cutting glue for other applications, I can tell you bestine thinner is very good on multiple glues and combined with best test it gives excellent rubber adhesion.
