WHERE HAS THIS BEEN ALL MY LIFE???? Knife holds the blade nice and tight .... I feel like such a "pro" when I use this thing. I'll never go back to the regular x-actos. Never!

I bought this because of the great reviews on this site, and I have to say, I wasn't disappointed. It lives up to it's expectations, and then some!

I bought this for my girl friend that does shadow boxes. She says that it is the best pen she has ever worked with and that isn't because i bought it for her. Great for fine detail.

This knife gets bonus points just for looking cool! I'd give it five stars, but the blades aren't as perfectly sharp as regular Exacto blades...go figure.

Throw away all your other knives!!! This one is the best and believe me, I have tried all of them. This knife's pen shape allows you to manipulate the blade in small and tight places. I carry mine in my purse I love it so much. Santa, me, got one for my daughter and dad for one of their Christmas presents this year because they drooled over mine. This is the Cadillac of knives.

I would prefer that the blade were bigger. Other than that, this product is fine.

I previously bought a cheaper retractable pen knife and it does not even come close in comparison to the X-acto pen. The X-acto pen knife is so easy to use. It makes my scrap book projects so much easier to do. I can complete my work much faster and neater.

I'm sorry that I can't say how great this knife is because I've been disappointed. The idea of getting into smaller spaces is good, but the smaller blade is thinner than the regular Xacto blade and I find it harder to manipulate in the thicker paper or cardstock I usually work with. The blade on mine broke off in the first few minutes of use. I didn't realize when I ordered it that it needed a different blade, so I had ordered regular Xacto blades instead of the special retractable blades. Also, mine feels loose in the knife. The blade kind of wobbles around. I do use it for really small areas but it's easier for me to just use the old Xacto than to go back and forth from the sturdier one to the retractable.

This is without doubt the most practical and handy gadget? a man can carry. I have never been without it for over 30 some years. You would be surprised how many times you find a need for it. Just like a pen it is always there. priceless.

Still would not be without my X-acto. Carry it in my shirt pocket next to my pen. We get a lot of package mail in boxes, and it is so easy to open them with my handy X-acto knife. Never had a blade break, just wear out.,thats why I always order refills at the same time.
