For some reason, I was expecting more compartments for my supplies, but this box offers all the compartments that I needed. Although some of the compartments are too small to really use them for anything, I guess one could use them for mixing paints, etc. However, I liked the amount of space that I had underneath the lift out tray, and if one needs more storage space for large items, it is convenient to remove the tray. I was able to store all of my paints and brushes and colored pencils, etc. in this convenient box that I can tote around with me to class.
