Riggers are the longest, thinnest watercolor brushes available. Originally designed for painting the rigging on ships, they are excellent for creating continuous fine lines in watercolor.
All Cotman Series brushes are composed of a blend of synthetic fibers of different thicknesses. The thicker fibers contribute strength and spring, while the thinner fibers improve color holding capacity. Together they retain a perfect point, time after time.
These brushes feature blue polished handles and seamless nickel plated ferrules. They are suitable for use with watercolor and all water and oil based media.
