perfect for working with drawing mediums that require some “tooth” to the
surface, such as charcoal, crayon or pastel. They also work well for brush
applications of watercolor or gouache where smooth blending of washes is
required. The textured surfaces of the boards allows the medium to be applied
without fast absorption.
All Crescent Cold Press Illustration Boards have a grey core.
No. 1 has a 100% rag, acid free surface and is extra heavy weight. It’s fine for fashion illustration, wash, and watercolor.
No. 99 is white with a plain green back and is medium weight.
No. 37 has a 100% rag, acid free surface that makes it great for any reproduction medium. It’s ideal for wash drawings, charcoal, pencil, pen, or airbrush and is medium weight.
No.100 has a high rag content surface and is heavy weight.
No. 110 has a 100% rag, acid free surface and is heavy weight.
