The Cup and Ball, when used with a thin sheet of suede, creates perfect circles and dots in embossing metals in just three easy steps. First, lay the suede over the back side of the metal. Then, press the Ball against the suede and into the metal, creating a round “bump” on the other side. Finally, turn the metal over and press the Cup around the “bump” to create a perfect raised circle.
The Cup and Ball comes in two sizes. Cup and Ball No. 3 creates circles roughly 1/8 in. across, while Cup and Ball No. 5 creates circles roughly 1/4 in. across. Suede sheet is sold separately.
