Pounce Wheels

Pounce Wheels are mounted on tapered, polished aluminum 4 1/4 in. x 5/16 in. handles. Roll the wheel over a design an it is transferred in a pattern of tiny perforations. The pounce wheels can be swiveled to follow around circles and curves, or locked for straight work.

#9 Pounce Wheel is 1/4 in. diameter wheel, 21 teeth per inch, beveled on both sides to the center.
#10 Pounce Wheel is 1/4 in. diameter wheel, 15 teeth per inch, beveled on both sides to the center.
#11 Pounce Wheel is 1/4 in. diameter wheel, 15 teeth per inch, beveled on one side to follow a straight edge.
#12 Pounce Wheel is 7/16 in. diameter wheel, 15 teeth per inch, beveled on both sides to the center.

My father painted on Atlas missiles that sent men into space and also used for silo lauching. Before computers, they had to hand stencil all the lettering that you see painted on the sides of those missiles. This tool was his main work horse. My brother and I have been looking for these for years. I have'nt seen one in at least 35 years...didnt even know they had a name. I got my brother a set. He did'nt think they still made them. Great tool!

I have not put my griffin Pounce wheels to work yet but I know that I will be satisified. They are constructed of metal and the assembly is excellent. If they don't do the job for me it will definitely be my fault, not the Griffin wheels!

One of four I ordered had a wobbly wheel. The other three worked fine but seemed to dull after a couple of hours of use. A positive was MisterArt's sending a replacement for the defective one at no charge. I didn't even ask for the replacement.
