If you have never used this style compared to an Exacto knife it can be a little awkward when you first use it. Once I tried it I found you really can lay down better curves. This knife really helps if you are cutting a complex design. You can also tighten down the swivel collar and use it like a fixed blade which is good for weeding out small areas you cut. Solid construction on the blade shaft and the blade is thick enough that you can resharpen it if you are cutting a material that dulls the blade quickly. Its only detriment is that these are hard to come by, with MisterArt the only supplier where I could find online.

I do alot of paper craft work, and I needed a craft knife that swiveled, this one is great, I would recommend it to anyone.
