Lightweight for mailing but strong enough to protect the contents. Plastic ends snap out for loading. Sizes 2.5 in. and 3 in. are white and have a wall thickness of approximately 1/8 in. The 6 in. diameter tube is craft paper brown with extra heavy weight with wall thickness of approximately 3/16 in.

Although it was difficult to fit all of my drafts into the tube at first, it has proved to be a very effective product. It is good for storage and protection of drawings, especially architectural drawings. The caps are easily removable but secure. It would be nice to have mailing tubes that would protect against water damage, etc.
