Great product and service. I received my straight edge well packed also. This is a heavy straight edge, and it will be very useful for tearing my pages for handmade books.

As a burgeoning book maker, the straight edge,(aka tear bar) is perfect for tearing specialty paper. It leaves a beautiful deckle edge. I like it better than using scissors or X-Acto knifes.

A good, high quality straightedge for tearing and cutting printmaking paper at an excellent price

The price on this was great. I was disappointed in the edge quality of this product. The beveled edge is straight but is all pitted and gouged, obviously a machine error when cutting this piece. It has a rough surface and is rusted. It looks like this came off the top of a stack of these that had been sitting around for awhile. The tape that bound the stack of these has stained the surface. The product came packaged well but was dirty. Since the edge condition does not effect the usability of this straight edge, I am keeping it. Its asthetics leave a little to be desired for stainless.

I searched high and low for a heavy straight edge with one edge beveled. This is by far the best I found and at the best price. I use the 36" for tearing down paper to make books and it works perfectly. I only wish that it could double as a ruler, but that seemed almost impossible to find when I was searching for one. Most other straight edges such as this one retail for about $50-70 and up, so this is a great deal.

I chose this straight edge over the more well known one that costs nearly twice as much— and it exceeded expectations. It's heavy and extremely well made. I use it for cutting mat board in half, and when you slide your knife along it, the straight edge doesn't budge, which is more than I can say for any other straight edge I've used. Can I award it six stars?!!

This is a nice heavy straight edge that stays put and is perfect for tearing paper, giving a nice deckle edge. Plus, it's faster than cutting. The price was about 40% less than the local art store, including shipping, and it arrived a few days after ordering. A winner all around!

These are great and difficult to find locally. They are perfect for trimming excess large-format print-out!

Looked for a while for a straight edge that both AFFORDABLE and extremely accurate, one that would stand up to a razor knife. Bought this one and haven't looked back. Great value!!! Highly recommended!!

This is great straight edge. Very heavy and stable. I needed it to cut straight edges for mounting items for board presentations and it has worked very well. It is one of the best tools I have ever purchased and will be using it for some time to come.

This product provides unsurpassable utility in matting. I have never been able to find stainless steel straight edges (let alone with a beveled edge)in stores, or catalogs. Even online they are few and far between, without many options. not only has the best price I can find, but has the largest selection in sizes. I could not be happier with my transaction, and highly reccomend both this product and vendor.

These Straight Edges are ideal for my use in cutting balsa and basswood for my HO scale modeling hobby.

The stainless steel straight edge is perfect for the intended job.
