A versatile, easy-to-handle polymer clay which hardens in your kitchen oven. Brilliant color intensity, fade proof, and odorless. Unhardened, even soft kneaded, it can be used again and again if it is well packed and stored at normal room temperature. Any desired shade can be achieved by kneading together basic colors. White Fimo Soft lightens the tone of individual colors. Transparent Fimo Soft gives the tone a translucent quality. Larger models, or models with delicate projecting parts, should be supported from the inside with an armature. After modeling simply place the object in a preheated kitchen oven set or toaster oven at 265 degrees F (129 degrees C) maximum for 10-20 minutes. Baked Fimo Soft can be added to and baked again, providing it hasn't been varnished. After cooling, baked Fimo Soft can be carved, sawed, filed, cut and painted; is watertight and washable.

Set of 10 includes 1 oz. blocks of White, Black, Mandarin, Brilliant Blue, Peppermint, Indian Red, Tropical Green, Caramel, Lemon, and Violet

Product Questions and Answers

If I want to make round beads with this clay, do I simply pinch a piece off and roll it in my hands until it is round and then stick a wire through the center to make the hole and bake?

- Asked by Tanya on 01-Feb-13

That would be the way to make a bead.

This is a great set to explore Fimo colors. The 1 oz. blocks are easy to condition and work. Great assortment for starters and figure out what colors you will likely use.

I love this stuff! The soft clay is the easiest to work with. Great color and price! Easy to use for any age! FIMO is by far the best polymer clay to work with!

Great way to start with basic colors and try out the Fimo soft. Much easier to work with than the regular Fimo.

THe Fimo bakes well at 235 for the Soft Fimo- the packages do not have baking temps. Also you can bake the glass eyes into your sculptures and they come out beautiful.

this was the 1st time i worked with polymer clay and i believe i'm hooked. Awesome color selection as a starter assortment--can't really compare to other clays but this appeared easy to work with and "forgiveable" :)

A wonderful group of colors, and it is very easy to use. The ease of finding it online instead of going searching in local stores is super.

I use this clay for projects at home, and also use it in play therapy sessions with children, and art therapy sessions with all ages. I handles very well, ages well, and has a great range of available colors.

Outstanding product. If you have problems with kneading the clay, take about a 1" chunk and run it through an Atlas Pastry press, dedicated just for your crafting. Never use your food one :) Continue to run it through several times to soften, then knead with your hands and warm it. Makes it easy to handle!

I have been expressing myself through painting and stained glass for some time now, I decided to try my hand at molding clay. From the moment I picked this product up and began creating characters I was hooked! The possibilites are endless! The hardest part is conditioning the clay, but it can be remedied with a food processer. This has certainly opened up a new world for me!

My children were thrilled with the color selection and especially liked the night glow for eyes on their Hershey Kiss Christmas ornaments, so they could glow in the dark.

Fimo soft is a joy to work with. Unlike the original fimo, you don't kill your hands trying to get a hard, crumbly mess to soften up enough to work with!
Rated by: Kallita P. in Maplewood, NJ
This is my first time using polymer clay. I really love working with FIMO Soft. It has only been a couple of weeks and I've already made so many things. I only wish I bought more clay!
Rated by: Nick W. in Guelph, MA
I love this stuff, when I used it they didn't have the FIMO soft out yet, and when I was building my chess peices with it, the only down fall I found was that the stuff was wicked hard to apply, you had to work it for like half an hour. But now that they have the FIMO soft out, there's not 1 thing that wrong with it. The stuff's great, give it a shot.
